This was my reply to a discussion on bird app about Nostr is/isn’t O(N^2).

I think it’s very important to let nostr define a new thing instead of trying to square peg it into some circle hole.

Bitcoin suffered for a good part of its many first few years from people from inside and outside trying to make Bitcoin totally new invention fit some old model.
