Not so sure but have always known it from Indian culture. Once you try it and drink in the evening I'm sure you will enjoy!

Nice! Yea, highly recommend. Can adjust the amounts to suit your preference. If your turmeric has a little thicker, brown skin it's worth scraping that off just to make the drink smoother without those bits in.
