I want to start mining Bitcoin at home. Any recommendations on FOSS mining software for generic PC hardware?
This is a lottery/principle/hobby setup. I don't care about odds of winning and don't plan to use a pool, if that makes a difference.

This is the easiest "solo pool" but have only used it with traditional bitcoin miners. Pretty sure core only allows asic miners now. It is technically a pool but allows you to solo mine, for sure a "lottery chance". Don't know how to start using no pool. Might point you in the right direction.
