As an American, I have to give the British credit for one thing…
In the #US, when you have quotes (“) at the end of a sentence, it goes outside the period, e.g. “quote here.” This makes no sense.
Apparently in British English the period goes outside the quoted text, e.g. “quote here”.
Clearly having a slow Monday…

Man, I love quality engineering, and UK electrical plugs and sockets have so many great features, it's a wonder.
I'm suprised it's not been more widely adopted... 🤷
