As a gigging guitarist/musician I am always paranoid about cutting my fingers.
This week I sliced open my index finger in my right hand, exactly where the string sits when fingerpicking, and right in the impact zone when holding a pick….
I had a gig tonight, what was I going to do?
Super glue to the rescue.
It worked a freaking treat. Protected for all 3 hours while I thrashed away on the acoustic.
Beautiful.
Have had to use the same fix myself in the past. Amazing how you just don’t notice any pain while the gig is on.

It was amazing. So much so that super glue is now going in my gig bag.
I’ve actually heard of people putting a lite coating in their fretting hand too for those “back from a few weeks away” gigs
