I hope they sell the bloody lot. Or give it back to its previous owners. Whatever they do, I do not want them to hold it.
The best outcome would be for them to return it to the rightful owners, if possible.

This is the British govt. They will never return anything to their rightful owner. Just ask the last 300 years.
