Is deflation catastrophically bad?

In my opinion, no.

What is deflation?

The decrease in prices.

How is price created?

demand

Price = ----------------------------

supply

What can cause inflation?

If demand ⬆️, prices ⬆️.

If supply ⬇️, prices ⬆️.

What happens if we want higher GDP?

GDP ⬆️, supply ⬆️, Prices ⬇️, which is deflation.

What will happen in such a case where we have inflation because of higher GDP/supply?

In my eye the following 2 scenario or their combination can happen:

1.) Supply ⬆️ -> Prices ⬇️ -> People buy more because it is cheap -> Demand ⬆️ -> Prices ⬆️ because of demand -> Sets an equilibrium

2.) Supply ⬆️ -> Prices ⬇️ -> People save because everything will be cheaper tomorrow -> Demand ⬇️ -> Price ⬇️ -> It does worth for companies to produce more, so they will cut supply -> Supply ⬇️ -> Price ⬆️ -> Sets an equilibrium
