Today I’m going to a Nigerian Muslim wedding. I’ve been to two Eritrean Greek Orthodox weddings, one English Christian wedding, one Sinhalese’s Buddhist wedding (longest wedding ever, though maybe the time difference made me cranky) and one Sinhalese catholic wedding. I am Sinhalese and my family are catholic so I’ll probably be going to many more of those when my baby cousins grow up and get married before me, naturally 🥹🥲
