Most people that would otherwise be here full-time (yourself included at times) think that the fediverse is bulletproof, when it has the same or worse problems than Nostr currently has; Mastodon and all its regressive bullshit has impaired ActivityPub and its more advanced capabilities to the detriment of the entire fediverse, whereas Nostr is younger and able to overcome similar trappings if more people commit to doing so.

The present issue is all the faggots from the fediverse want the same bullshit here, with the benefits that being unable to defederate provides users on this protocol. They need to get told to go fuck themselves.
