As a custodial service and regulated entity, there's not much they can do. Depending on where they're regulated, they might be able to allow certain limits without requiring full kyc.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I hope you’ve given my statement a bit more nuanced thought. If everybody said “anything the government says is illegal I cannot do, even if it’s morally right” we’d be in a sad place.
