Media storage isn't an issue. It's already decentralized, literally just host your own images lol
That's a client issue, not a protocol one.
the relays need to interconnect and nip65 gossip means clients connect to any relay when needed, but yep clients need to implement this stuff
we dont even have decentralized media ffs, nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 just laughs at it

I do agree that clients should be more diverse in their media storage, but it's not his issue to solve.
thats centralized, maybe distributed like notes is a better term for you
everything is a client issue as they implement the protocol
