if you have superacuity from PTSD it's definitely suffering to be jumping from fright randomly 20 times in a day when someone fires off another volley

well, to be precise... hyperacuity, and exaggerated startle reflex
hyperacusis even:
it's not this, exactly, i don't always have this but actually, mostly i need to be drunk or baked to not have this problem:
so maybe i actually do have hyperekplexia, my mother certainly also finds these things a problem, i am just not sure it isn't just general PTSD
i have to have white noise up quite loud during those times, this is why i'm glad it's winter weather again
wet and dreary and shady, people not outside or partying anyhow
often, the sound of wind or rain masking any remaining noise still going on outside
the downside is the temperature, it's going to get cold again, and it gets pretty cold, down to about 14`C at times, and the storms, which happen around february-march, can sometimes be a bit scary
blasting the fan on my air purifier and putting on white noise on the speakers helps a lot... i almost forget there's people outside at all
