Face for the Radio by The View

This song is in strong contrast to The View’s typically raucous, energetic indie rock sound, and its unpolished quality gives it a raw, organic feel. The stripped back sound shows another side to The View as they reflect on fame, individuality, and self-perception. The View were discovered by Pete Doherty of The Libertines / Babyshambles in 2006, while playing a gig at The Doghouse in Dundee. Doherty was so impressed by their raw energy and talent that he invited them to support Babyshambles on tour.
