That's really cool, I wish I'd carried on to the interpreter level, I always thought it'd be great fun to be the little guy in the corner of the telly or something, my little ones second cousin used to do that...if you or the teacher ever come across an answer to the one handed alphabet thing let me know...till I get a proper answer I'm gonna assume it was so they could carry their gun while holding a conversation 😮😆
If I find the answer, I'll pass it on!
(ah, yes- The interpreter on the 📺... I've been offered such interpreting assignments (emergency/health broadcasts), but never liked the idea of being on 📺. A few of my colleagues enjoy it, though)
Most of my interpreting experience is in Education HS/Uni, Healthcare (Hospitals, Psychiatric Facilities), Law Enforecement (police/investigations), social work visits, etc. - a dynamic career, for sure!
