people are more and more scared to say “i don’t know” when asked factual stuff and decide to waffle instead, but when you ask for their opinion, they’ll say “i don’t know”

I totally was that person. Then I read a lot of books by the Dalai Lama and one of them said he was good with not knowing. Now I copy him and say I don't know all the time 😅💯💜

absolutely. the grading system makes not knowing look and feel bad, which in turn makes students either focus on grades or just block themselves out.

there’s so much to be curious about, but we are made to be afraid of not being perfect
