What in the fuck?
I made a playlist on nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 of songs from my podcast and shared it for the normies on Facebook.
And Facebook immediately took it down.
So that’s that for trying to do anything there. Deleted from my phone.
Discussion
I am very tired of Meta and it’s b.s. tired of Twitter too. My intention was to get on both and “reach the normies” with the podcast and music, but it may be a waste of time.
Why on earth? What reasoning is at play here? It's a simple link.
Exactly. Did I not write “enough” lead-in text? Was it the exclamation point? Is it because I posted a link to a song on nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg earlier? Is it because it’s *a link* or is it specifically because I posted a link to nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5? Is it because I’m posting links to music outside Facebook?
We know the platforms prefer native content over links that take people off the platform.
But I can (and do) post whatever I want on nostr and it never disappears. I post curse words, links, pics, and words Facebook might actually shadow ban me for. No issues here.
