But not what we were told. LN seems optimal for businesses to accept payments.
Not sure what's going on with Phoenix, my one seems to be working well. My favorite phone LN wallet is electum. Still working like a charm
What were you told? Detailed descriptions of how lightning functions have been around for half a decade now. These problems are not new, nor do they break lightning.
I'm prepared for high fees, using have a bunch of LN mobile wallets as well as some liquid.
What I meant is that many "influencers" have been saying LN is cheap & fast. Something like "I bought a coffee & the fee was less than 1 cent"
As i understand it high on chain fee periods also increase lightning fees.
They can, but not necessarily. It’s all dependent on the relationship you have with your channel partners.
If you don’t understand how to use it, then yes.
User experience improvements definitely need to be made but proper education and channel management also solves this problem.
