I am using primal. Sorry to say that it is not obvious to me how to set up the wallet. I can see the wallet, I can see the option to buy BTC from within the wallet but that is about it. Do I have to buy bitcoin to enable the wallet to receive zaps? I don’t see a user manual for the app anywhere otherwise I would RTFM 🤣

it's been a minute but if memory serves you should be going under "wallet" then it should give you option to "use primal wallet" then it should ask to "activate wallet" at which point it will want a name and email, you will get emailed a verification link. verify and you should be all set. They generate the public key as human readable and after its all set you should be able to look under your profile settings page and see it listed in the lighting address spot. If not take the address they gave you and enter that in. Let me know if that works!!
Thank you for your persistence. Unfortunately your description of the UI does not match my experience. In the Primal wallet tab, when I tap the ’receive’ button I see a Lightning Address. This is an address that ends with “at Primal.” There are no features for activation in the wallet tab. In Profile settings there is a space for a “Bitcoin Lightning Address” but that is blank. Could it be that I need to copy/paste the atPrimal address into the Bitcoin Lightning Address space?
Ok, so I see in your profile that you have the at primal.net address as your lighting address.
So I have copy/pasted address as noted and now see that the little QR code icon has gone from being light grey in colour to black. Perhaps it’s now activated? Cheers.
just zapped you. your wallet is live!
now you have some sats to join in the fun!! thank you again for your feedback on my logo. I've made some adjustments and I'll hopefully get the updated revision on my laser tomorrow.
Wow, that’s buzzy! The whole zap some sats thing is really different. Thanks for your guidance 😃 I would love to see your updated version. I have a 5W X-Tool laser I bought about 15 months ago. I made a bunch of small wooden items that my wife stocked in her gift store for Christmas 23. There was a bit of a learning curve with developing the graphics and text for the items as well as the speed and power of the laser. I got there in the end and hope to do some more in the coming months. Cheers again and I will share the zap love ! G.
Make sure you give me a follow then! I post a few of my projects a month.
