I started 10 in solo cups, keeping outside (houston) making sure they were watered well. The other half in the aquaponics system. Surprisingly the solo cup method was quicker to root. I then transferred to bigger pots.

Yep I am a fan of solo cups! Cheap, get 2-3 starts out of one. I have been popping holes in the bottom with a 1/4" bit, just stack and you can do about 10 in one go.

No pots, etc. can compete on cost with a jumbo pack of party cups from Costco.

I’m working on 3d printing airpots. It’s been a little more complicated then I thought. Check out Tinkercad online. Pretty good site to design 3d models.
