It’s the answer for a secure private DM with Nostriches. If you join the group, you can search the group for someone you need to DM vs have direct connections with lots of people.

Otherwise each contact will list as a different contact and I can see it being overwhelming.

Also once the need for the direct message has ended, you can delete contact but still have access to them as long as they are in the group. 🤙🏻
