Some people are opposed to an "everything apps" (maybe because that's what Elon wants), but I think it would be great. It's "Notes AND Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays," not N.T.R. or O.S.T.R.
So perhaps more of the "other stuff" needs to be folded into the notes apps, as has already been done regarding a few things. If you want to outgrow and surpass eX-Twitter and BlueSky, etc. you have to do what they can't do.

Piling on, Brother, I think a COOL way to accomplish what you suggest would be for apps to interoperate: Each app would advertise it's API, and other apps could plug in or connect, allowing data and legit control information to flow freely among all connected apps...
I know this is already being done, and hope it will be extended.😃
agreed, but that would mean some ninjas would have to learn modular architecture that isn't their stupid OOP nonsense
