I think this is really going to pave the way for a decentralized collaborative science.

Professors are really interested in the concept - more in the sense of how they can analyze text rather than an interest in decentralization (and I haven't even brought up to them the possibilities of alternative funding methods in science) but utility is definitely seen.

Think about themed relays for schools, departments or small research groups. Themes spanning the most focused research to mapping out full research fields. Mini knowledge bases on relays where the groups are allowed to post their research and literature for anyone to see and a client that is able to aggregate this research.

Things are moving and its just πŸ€―πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« every step of the way.
