Tried Pop_OS?

no i havent. is it good? i have been a long time loyal user of kubuntu, since 2016. had to use windows in 2021 because i started my master and had to use spss and that laptop i had only had 128gb storage. now i have this new laptop with 500gb memory i will probably dual boot. been trying few os the past few days and i kinda like kde neon. it was made by the original developers of kubuntu. but it has the most recent kde version and less bloatware than kubuntu.

i dont know im just a big fan of kde. smooth, stable, not so buggy, less frictions

Gotcha, KDE is beautiful. I loved it for a long time.

Pop Os has their own GUI. They customized gnome and are rebuilding it. It's smooth and an upgrade on ubuntu but not as pretty as KDE I would say

yup

I'm using mint without problems. What kind of problems are u having?

the libre ui is broken and it occasionally freeze

Everything is working fine for me. Could it be a problem with your particular hardware?

I use mint and have never had a problem I didn't make for myself.
