It probably will be good to do it every year. I know some people who keep chickens and we will rooster swap.

Oh that is fine. he can have at all six of the new ones. But not his kids.

They grow quick, probably will be getting eggs from them in July or August

4-5 months wow

Now I have to cull a few that aren’t laying much and make soup or feed to the dogs.
