Started reading the Stormlight Archives after putting it off for several years.

I go back and forth about how much I care for Sanderson's writing style but it has been interesting enough to pull me in.

I just hate the 'witty' exchanges between certain characters. Please make it stop. I'd almost rather he just puts in [insert clever response] than try as hard as he is to shoehorn the dialogue.

Any Sanderson fans around? Does it get better a long the way? Most epic fantasy series don't have the strongest start.
