Has anyone here on Mastodon ever had any documents notarized via remote notarization? I've read all the rules but I'm still having a hard time figuring out the logistics...

To wit: How do you get the notarial seal and signature on the actual document that needs to be notarized if the person signing that document is not in the same room? 😂 Do you use a Star Trek style transporter?

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but I can't find any answers so far.

Any help appreciated.
