So, here’s the deal: yesterday, nostr:npub14q8uffuxxnhzd24u4j23kn8a0dt2ux96h5eutt7u76lddhyqa0gs97ct2x was out here, sending plebs some sats on chain, like a true legend. No big deal, right? I was just sitting there, chilling, and thought I’d join in. I fired up my Blink wallet, sent out an address, and Uno sent the sats without a hitch.
But then... things got interesting. I found out that Blink wallet charges a whopping 5,000 SATS for on-chain transactions under 1M sats! Can you believe that? Like, 5,000 SATS just for sending a small amount on chain?!
Man, that’s a straight-up way to steal from the little guy. It really hit me. I mean, if you were going to charge fees for small transactions, wouldn't it make more sense to charge 5,000 SATS for transactions over 1M SATs??🤦♂️🤦♂️ Only logical, right?
But no, instead, they make it harder for people to send smaller amounts, which totally goes against the whole point of Bitcoin. Are we really discouraging on-chain transactions now? Seems like it.
