I’m going to be revealing my NIP-17-focused Nostr client in February.

Built in less than two months (initially, as a learning challenge, but grew in to much more).

A few dozen testers are enjoying it so far; very happy with the results, just polishing up the foundations for future-proofing, every line of code is completely open-source under the MIT licence.

It’s a spec for Encrypted Private Messaging (i.e: DMs and small groups), a neat combo of a couple other NIPs that define the Encryption and Metadata hiding (Giftwrapping).
