Saw your reaction to new Damus test flight release.

My 2 sats… we’re in a big RD lab.

The feature is not compulsory. Now both zaps and like can be turned off if the user wishes to (Comments next?)

The feature made me rethink the purpose of the zap…

Comments are for real engagement, zaps for real reward, renotes for boosting the signal. What is the purpose of the like? Head nodding? Dopamin release upon receiving it? (Addiction) feeding an algorithm?

I am curious to see how many people will be tempted to simply turn it off.
