I think if WoS could still be used in the USA, zapathons wouldn't have died as zaps would be super simple for new users and it would of actually be a great reason to join/try nostr knowing you can post memes, original or stolen, and earn a bit of money for it just for participating and engaging....
possibly. i think people just moved to different wallet solutions though, right?

From where I stand I've watched folks ditch non KYC custodial wallets like WoS for KYC wallets like strike that also arnt as simple or intuitive to use and get zapping asap.
