Leftists are some of the fiercest Monero-using, E2EE privacy advocates I know. During the BLM protests, it was quite revealing to see far-right protesters having their texts leaked on Twitter in real time because they were using Telegram, while those on the far-left did not suffer from the same fate because they had already been using Signal and other more private forms of communication for quite some time.
