The amount of amps charged is continuously updated based on the base load of the house and any additional energy currently consumed so that the electricity pulled for charging ideally never exceeds the energy currently produced at the time.

On a sunny day with clear skies you can see perfectly how the rate of charging is adjusted continuously as the excess amount of energy varies throughout the day ☀️
