You can't verify the keys haven't been saved somewhere. It's just an assumption based on being one of Satoshi's wallets.

There is no block preceding it, so it would not be possible to generate a transaction according to the code.

Someone said that it’s theoretically possible that Satoshi could have saved the private key for the Genesis Block but I find that scenario highly improbable.
