I used to use Skype to have a US number and make voip calls. That's now gone and I cannot find a service that isn't shit, constantly annoyingly marketing stuff I don't want or just totally confusing because targetted at businesses. Does anybody know of a simple US number voip service? #asknostr

I absolutely do, have been using them for close to a year now. You get US numbers. You can pay in BTC or altcoins as well. Let me know if interested, if you sign up with my referral, we both get $5 credit to our accounts after you've successfully funded yours for the first time and used my referral code! It hasn't been suggested in replies yet. 😉

So a simple us number calling on a per minute charge. No bullshit, no impossible incomprehensible website with irrationally complex billing and crap? Just like a number you can use for calls)

Yes, it's not per minute though. Unlimited domestic calls, unlimited SMS/MMS. About $5 a month, payable in crypto. Works with XMPP.
