Gonna start unfollowing accounts noting about free speech if I know for a fact they are still on x. I don’t want to feed into anyones engagement farming. The solution for censorship is here, but the cost of temporarily loosing followers and income is too high for some. It might be nothing but a drop in the ocean, but my #zaps and my support will go to those who help grow this decentralised communications protocol. It’s proof of work, and I value that.

Understand and respect the decision, but I do think it’s a bit silly to unfollow someone just for having an account there as there is still certain use cases to it. Although someone may fully value the same things you do, and potentially in some cases to an even higher degree, it doesn’t always mean people are in a position to be able to abandon that avenue.
But alas, if such is the case, then you’ll have to unfollow me as I do still occasionally use it to engage with projects and individuals who have not yet made the move to #Nostr, and I also use it to promote those friends to move here.
