I think that's the plan, it's just a question of how quickly and how hard. It seems like there are plenty of self-proclaimed world leaders who are converging on...Something...To replace today's world.

They're setting up the infrastructure now. We get little hints here and there about what it's going to look like, and it really is a mix of every dystopian novel and movie we've been fed for the past century. Earth is going to be one giant long-day factory producing an endless supply of ultra-luxury goods for 0.1% of the population and a scarce supply of low-quality shit for everyone else to subside on.

But hey, there seems to be nothing to do about it but hope it doesn't happen (it will).
