This one is wrong, at least partially. My great grandfather was sent to, and escaped, a Nazi concentration camp. No, he wasn't any of the things Nazis deemed "undesirable" - he was a resistance fighter in occupied Netherlands, and got captured.

What part is wrong? Nobody's saying there weren't prisoner camps, and they certainly weren't pleasant, so I'd want to escape too

My grandfather was smuggling pork to enclaves of Jews in the underground railroad in eastern NL. He escaped draft because of his pacifist christian religion and was instead shipped to Korea and then Indonesia, where he met my Oma, who was half swiss, child of a concubine.

Nazis can go straight to hell, as also those who support conscription.

Christians do not endorse war. Period.

This doesn't address the original post. You can be against war and against conscription and still acknowledge that the official narrative told about WWII is a poor retelling of history.

A poor retelling of history doesn't equal a reversal on the bad guy status of Nazis. Were Nazis justified in their actions? Maybe, with caveats, considering the geopolitical and social landscape of the time. But they were still objectively evil, and I mean that - yes, "objectively evil" makes sense and no leftist subjectivist cry session changes that. The genocide did happen, but also it was more than the Jews, and its wrong for the Jews to pretend it was only them. Even without genocide, Nazis were statists, and statists are again, objectively evil.

By you're standards, almost all people are evil. Which may be true but that perspective would be required for you to be consistent.

We don't need to get deep into the weeds here, just try to understand where people are coming from. Neither side wants to be reduced down to a cartoon villain who is purely evil, we are all human. Fundamentally that is where a lot of the 'Holocaust denier' rhetoric stems from.

Yes, that is my opinion of people. But its also my opinion that forgiveness and patience are necessary. Believing people are evil doesn't mean I treat them as evil - doing so would be evil!!

Ha, pork to Jews, that must've been an interesting experience

yeah, imagine you are 9 year old boy with your older cousin with a suitcase that is leaking pig blood whdile geshtapo are inspecting the passengers

That's wild!

yeah, my poor opa... and his wife died of neglect after developing alzheimers and his heart popped a couple years before she finally carked it from the starvation and malnutrition and probably whatever sugar metabolic problem i have killed her

i have some very clear reasons why i am fighting against the system that killed them both

and i'm not so stupid to think that means violence, i mean to rug them of their entire power

Yeah, violence is not the way. Its a trap, actually, as is a lot of the cultural glorification of violence.
