Connecting this with the recent samurai wallet case development, this is what I see:

People “ hey guys why don’t we use this other thing as money, we agree on it and we simply create a parallel system without hurting anybody”

Government: “absolutely not, you are not free to choose what to use as money. I tell you what you can use to freely exchange value with others, and if you don’t obey then jail”

When I think about it like this the situation is absolutely out of control!!!
