Well I think a good analogy to draw from is think about back in the day when minstrels or bards used to go from town to town living a decent life just sing a music for once a night you know I think when you have a hard money that you could make a living off of just tips and donations from people that like your stuff. I'm not entirely sold that it does array with all of the consumersism because there's always going to be a dedicated fanbase that would like to have merchandise and such
