the internet is even more hostile these days than it was back when pages had ads that spawned a hundred new windows, just in more subtle and insidious ways... web bugs have been normalised, and the mainstream default browsers on all OSs don't protect you from nothing, a bit like the police and these gangs and your daughters
True I use brava and the block script checkbook was disabled 🫣 but damn look at all the trackers.
