Reminder for Bitcoin devs:
When you push code, organized crime is watching.
When you add that dependency, North Korea is trying to comprise its dependencies.
When you leave your laptop unlocked in public, you don’t know who’s gonna hit a few keys.
Stay vigilant. It’s not a lot more work to be careful and avoid dependencies, but it’s a ton of work to clean up after someone loses a billion dollars.
I would recommend just never upgrading your node. V22 maximalist

i don't know if that's a joke but that seems crazy to never update your node
Not a joke. There are many others like me. It doesn’t need to be updated. Works fine. I never update my laptop or signing devices either.
