Nostr Web Client

There are already two free relays on Tor:

ws://bitcoinr6de5lkvx4tpwdmzrdfdpla5sya2afwpcabjup2xpi5dulbad.onion

ws://oxtrdevav64z64yb7x6rjg4ntzqjhedm5b5zjqulugknhzr46ny2qbad.onion

The missing link was, at least for us noStrudel users, the client. Now we are able to have a fully private Tor experience - client + relays.

Is this meant for the desktop? I don't see how anyone would prefer nostrudel to a native mobile app

It's a desktop or PWA. Nice on tablets, as well. It has a lot of functionality that some of the native apps don't have, so devs and power-users love it.

I prefer #Freerse on mobile, but it's still beta.

I'll never use web apps or even something like React Native when there's a solid open source Kotlin app available.
