The main problem that I see with UBI is that it is just an extension of late stage capitalism. It doesn't solve anything just keeps empowering the same people, and extends what ever it is that you are trying to solve for. There are only two system implicit and explicit exploitation (however you define it) 99% of these discussions are just mental rope-a-dope's that dont achieve anything. Might makes right, always, just go do

I don’t deny that this is an extension of late stage capitalism. I don’t think it’s an end solution but more of a bandaid solution. But plenty of people need a bandaid right now.

I can appreciate your compassion, but it is not a solution. It intentionally only compounds the current issue (however you want to think about them) trying to bring about a class revolt. It is hoped that UBI is the most passive vs actual revolt, but it just encourages the same that lead to this destination. It's just passing the buk so we dont have to do the work

Am I correct in understanding that you are in favor of a class revolt? Or are you saying that class revolt is not preferential.

Mmmm, not sure. Because for me this things get squishy. These things and terms are all relative to the individual and their perceptions. To cop out of an answer... Above you put forth a definition of an appeal to authority, we could quibble about all those points contend with personal percieved definitions until we start talking about how many Angel's can fit on the head of a pin, it's just utopian mental rope-a-dope. To digress, a class revolt for who, why, and against who, these thing are so nebulous they become meaningless. I am convinced that a class struggle/revolt is a bad framing of the issues and solutions, they are better served as tools to critique.
