We should do away with star systems in exchange for like or dislike. One and five star reviews are by far the most popular anyway.

YouTube used to have a star system before they realized people were already using it as like and dislike so they switched to that instead.
And typically, it’s the consumers with a bad experience that feel more inclined to leave a full review and rating.
YouTube thought the same way - they used to have a 5 star system and moved to like and dislike (now only like) because they believed it creates a better user experience.
I personally prefer zaps, but to each their own.
