Looks interesting. What do you like best about it over regular Ubuntu GUI?

What is "i3"?
A tiling window manager. Windows greedily consume all screen area. You can tile them, stack them or tab them. Your window navigation and arrangement is ideally achieved without your hands leaving the keyboard.
