I was on Firefox all along because Chrome was shit already all along. :)

I honestly believe there is zero chance that the whole WEI thing will actually pass (though I worry it may be a "daddy can I have a pony?" thing.) Still, it's one in a long series of things they've been doing in recent times that are just too anti-consumer for me to want to keep sticking with them. The fact they're proposing it says a lot about where they're going.
