Replying to Neopatriarch

The Flash looks promising. I definitely want to see it. The lead actor is seriously cray cray IRL; perhaps that's why he is so fun to watch. After Wonder Woman, he was the only other bright spot in the DCU. It's shame his problems will pause his career if not kill it.

The DCU has been so terribly dark it was just painful. I almost walked out of the theater when Pa Kent wasn't sure if Clark should have saved a bus load of kids or not. He is Clark's moral compass.

They need to find words and directors that love and will honor the source material. I think that's what made the MCU so strong, and why it's dying now. If you subvert the source material your not giving the audience what it wants.

I didn't even try The Ring of Power. I just knew the new generation of show makers would skrew it up.

I did try the Wheel of Time, and it broke my heart. So bad.

A show I thoroughly enjoyed, Galavant. It was hilarious. To be fair, not everyone one in the family liked it, and I watched a lot of it alone. If you liked, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. You might like Galavant.

I watched the first 10 minutes of Wheel and almost "Elvised" the TV. Galavant was an underrated work of genius.
