To be honest, itās been a prioritization of free sats over digital privacy.
The excuse Iāve made for myself was āGoogle and Apple already know where I am, so at least Iāll get sats for it nowā.
But itās a fallacy and I know it.
No need to share my location data with yet another company. Better off buying $.05 worth of sats per day.

Cake wallet is a scammer please get your btc out of that wallet. I have been personally rugged by them, and have had multiple friends lose money too
Thanks - Iām not holding anything in Cake - just aware of it as a theoretically easy way to swap Bitcoin for Monero.
How did you get rugged? Thought the wallet was open source and self-custodial
I held btc on their btc wallet side. One day the money i had in there was sent out to somewhere i didnt approve, happened to my friends aswell on the same day.
Thatās bad, but not necessarily something Cake did. Itās a hot wallet so itās susceptible to online attacks that hardware signers are not. (Not defending cake here, just pointing it out). Perhaps there was a weakness exploited that day. Did you reach out to them for help?

This was a year ago. I remember checking the transaction and seeing my money sent right out with others money too all to one address

Iāve never been able to get the email verification notification off and any time Iāve clicked on it, it says the email I provided is already verified
How long have you had the notification? Today was the first day Iāve seen it. Can you still earn sats without clearing it?

I should know in the next week if it allows me to send them to my wallet
Oh ok gotcha. Yeah they raised their withdrawal limit from 500 to 1K sats pretty recently
Iām almost to 1000, unfortunately (or fortunately) I donāt get as many steps in when Iām on vacation, or I donāt have my phone on me as much

Update on the sMiles appā¦ it sends an error message to my wallet of satoshi when I try to send to my default, and when I try to manually send, it just freezes upā¦ so I donāt know if Iām going to continue using itā¦ if itās just data harvesting me for no return thereās no point and their support is still nonexistent
