Stone Town is the historical and cultural center of Zanzibar.

Essentially Stone Town is an old city with all the historical and cultural locations.

The capital of the island itself is Zanzibar City, but in general it is also called Stone Town. All financial and government institutions, the airport and the port are located here.

Here you can stay for a couple of days, visit all the interesting locations, as well as nearby islands, such as Prison island or Nakupenda. It has its own atmosphere, but it is quite noisy and crowded.

But you can immediately go to hotels on other coasts and visit the city as a one-day tour. By the way, we organize such tours for our guests 🙌
