Could also be a good way to cut through spam which will eventually show up⦠adding some sort of cost to start a thread could be a good way to make spamming expensive if you could sort between zapped threads and non zapped threads
yes I will look into this. The more you pay the more tokens you get. It could just be associated with your pubkey instead of a specific thread. I need a zap profile option...

Yea that could work as well, Iβm no dev so I probably shouldnβt recommend solutions when I barely understand how this works but it seems to me that there needs to be an expense to spamming thatβs not just, you get banned or throttled like other platformsβ¦ Iβm not sure how it could work here but I assume since people can reward posts with zaps you could also incorporate that to something like a different feed where either the profiles that have a high zap percentage per post or posts that have a high zap percentage per reply or something like that get shown more in that zapped feed. that would at least reduce the amount of Chinese porn bot accounts you currently see on the global feed but could allow you to discover new accounts you donβt already follow πβ¦ I also have no idea what Iβm talking about so big grain of salt here lol
